A Playbook is an Active Cheat Sheet.

Every coach has a playbook.

We don’t run into battle without a plan, or go off on a journey without a map or logging into Google Maps. For some reason, we repeat the same mistakes, and same emotional battles without giving ourselves the coaching, strategies, tips, tricks and tools to get through them, equipped and with the best armour onboard.

Experience is an ultimate weapon if used correctly.

But better still, why not avoid the issue in the first place if it’s possible through coaching or mentoring, whether informal like through reading Agony Aunt columns or deliberately by exercising the psych – muscle often called “wisdom” She is priceless of course and notably the BFF we all should have on speed dial.

Think about it, right now, do you have that girlfriend on your Smart Phone? Can you access her 24/7? And no, her name is not Siri!

Jokes aside, when we cannot access her or she doesn’t run in our circle or network, we better grab her Playbook.

Her go-to guide on how to navigate through life seamlessly. By the way, have you got to the Chapter on Exiting the Rat Race, ‘cause that is a jaw-dropper that should be unpacked in detail.

So what happens when we get to a tricky nail-biting spot, we operate out of fear, doubt, guilt, anxiety, pessimism, crankiness, stress, sadness…

Emotions affect our work and zap our energy. When we can’t pull through the darker emotional states, most of us avoid the work altogether.

It’s too hard, too overwhelming, too much to deal with, with no official “A-Team” Game Plan.

We hide in our caves. Likely, we Procrastinate on our plans, and To-Do lists. We take the easy way out and step aside from consistency and self-discipline.

Basically, we let our plans run amok. We delve into all forms of escapism, using all the wrong tactics, usually digging ourselves into a bigger stinkier hole.

To halt this negative whirlpool, a Steal My Playbook, Hustle with Heart gives us clues and answers and solutions, a strategy that is proven to work, effective and efficient, ultimately taking you off the losing and loser path to (instead) transform and translate the mistakes, #FailingForward.

The failures are instead noted as constructive feedback that are key Lessons in Life, often Turning Points that put you on a new, fresh exhilarating and exciting life’s trajectory.

For many, at the end of every year, it’s a great time to think through what the Key Lessons are from the previous year. And in fact, better still – create a my8dayweek Healthy Habit – if you can get into the practice to ask yourself on a weekly basis:

This week, ask yourself:

What were the key takeaways, learnings and lessons?

What will I continue to do?

What new strategies can I apply to my Trusted Toolkit?

What new Healthy Habits will I form?

Indeed, the most important life lessons youll ever learn are failures. Someone elses or your own.

Mistakes are meant for learning not repeating.

Some activities require you to try again, in repetition to master a skill, which is fine to do but some mistakes are more to do with an action that can be avoided, done a certain way or pre-planned. Take all the moving parts of the equation and be quick to spot the red flags and avoid the booby traps for future similar scenarios.

Hustle with Heart

“Why is it important to Hustle?”

It may have become a buzzword. Hustling seems to equate with hard work which creates the desired result, usually to do with wealth creation.

Reaching your goals and dreams isnt always an easy or simple process.

Hustling is associated with a commitment to get ahead, no matter what, and never give up or give in when faced with challenges.

It’s also about being resourceful and creative in finding new methods of success.

Hustling with heart ensures you sense the limitations which you currently hold and draw boundaries that ensure your health and wellness are prioritised.

You apply passion and purpose to your activities, but you plan according to the resources at hand.

Here are the ways you can deal with what you have on your plate:

  1. Strengths: Amplify your talents, skills, lived experiences, education
  • Weaknesses: What needs work or attention, can it be delegated or do you need to learn this topic/subject, have a coach/teacher/mentor
  • Opportunities: To grow, to collaborate, to be better than yesterday
  • Threats: Think about what could go wrong, be extra-prepared, Play “What if – what if my laptop stopped working, “what if” …etc. etc.
  • Evolve: Think about the action that needs implementing, the mindset shift, the new book to read, and which community group or mastermind to join
  • Resolution: Know with your heart and mind what needs to change, apply changes in the form of manageable Healthy Habits and track the changes going forward

Hustle with Heart means that you are invested inwho you are serving and love inspiring, caring for and believing in other people’s destinies.

You want the best for others, you wish to see them shine to their full potential and your interactions are about imparting love, strength, confidence and a touch of sisterhood – heart & soul.
