“Learning is the only thing the mind never exhausts, never fears, and never regrets.” – Leonardo da Vinci, inventor and polymath.
Life teaches us new lessons every day. If we have time to document what we are our key takeaways every day, we would be all the wiser for it.

All our failures amount to nothing if we don’t reflect on what we have done wrong.
So, what is failing forward?

As a major sports fan, one of my favourite all-time quotes is from basketball great Michael Jordan: “I’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. Twenty-six times, I’ve been trusted to take the game-winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”

Failing forward refers to the acceptance of failure as a stepping stone to future success.
***
To fail forward means that you have chosen to respect each failure for the lessons it teaches you, and to apply those lessons to future efforts, even if those efforts may also fail. Ouch!
Inevitably, each failure brings you closer to ultimate success when you’re failing forward.

“The main aim of the game is to not quit in the process or stall too long in the place of defeat.”

You gotta pick yourself back up, armed with the new knowledge you have about what you did wrong and have another go. #FailForward
Keep going! YOU GOT THIS! @my8dayweek
Failing is an essential step to succeeding.
You can’t succeed if you don’t fail and learn from those failures.
In fact, it’s not our failures, but our reaction to our failures that determines where we end up.
So, don’t react in a negative way.
Instead, use that negative energy and flip it.
Allow it to FUEL you to do better, to be better. #FailForward
